Two Tournaments Operating
at the same time:
- The Scholastic Tournament is played with modern table
tennis paddles and games played to 11 (best 3 out of 5
games).
This is open to all kids, grades 1 through 12, and all
levels of experience.
- An Old Fashioned Hard Bat tournament requires people
to use the old "hard bats". Those are the paddles
that have
pimpled rubber with no sponge on the inside. Games are
played to 21 (best 2 out of 3 games).
These tournaments are focused on FUN.

All levels of players
are invited. That means everyone from kids to the old-timers
who remember playing with hard bats 40 years ago.

10:30am and tournament play begins at 11:00pm.

Bat tournament receive cash: 1st place 50% / 2nd place 25%
Winners in the Scholastic tournament receive a prize.
Format: Both tournaments are
round robins. Scholastic matches are 11-points best of 5 games
and the hard bat matches are 21-point best of 3 games. The
% for prize money refers to the percentage that is collected
in entry fees.
