This is one of the fastest blades available and one of the most popular that Butterfly sells. This particular paddle was originally tested by Fan Yiyong and he sanded and shaped the handle (note the pink on the back side of the handle, which was some sort of filler he used). The new price is $125.

Butterfly Schlager Carbon Light

The regular Schlager paddle is Butterfly's fastest carbon paddle, but it's also heavy. The Schlager light is a very fast carbon paddle but with lighter weight. This paddle has seen very light usage. The new price is $110.

Butterfly Iolite

Butterfly has a series of paddles that use a combination of carbon and arylate. These paddles have great speed from the carbon, but also wonderful feel (like an all-wood paddle) from the arylate. Plus, the arylate gives the paddle a larger sweet spot. The Iolite is the fastest of Butterfly's carbon-arylate paddles. It's medium-light in weight (85 gm) and very fast. The handle is small, which takes some getting used to. The new price is $130.

Butterfly Timo Boll Spirit

This is another carbon-arylate paddle like the Iolite and it's the paddle used by Timo Boll. It's a little heavier (90gm) and is supposed to have a little more control than the Iolite. It also seems a little stiffer. This particular paddle has seen light usage. The new price is $120.
